Stride Quality

  • Focus on quality and design for safe construction, operation and maintenance.
  • Reviews of design basis, safety, constructability, commissioning provisions, operations flexibility, maintainability and value are performed on all projects.
  • An active continuous improvement process ensures that work methods and standards are challenged and improved.

At Stride Engineering, we subscribe to the safety triangle theory.  We know that 'at risk behaviours' lead to near misses.  The number of near misses is a leading indicator of the number of first aids and lost time accidents.  Our goal at the design phase is to minimize the need for at risk behaviours in your operating facility.

Every project we undertake goes through safety and risk assessments. When the design is at the appropriate stage, our projects receive an independent review of safe operations and maintenance.

Our personnel are skilled in HAZOP and other key safety assurance processes. Our safety program includes continuous professional development of skills and knowledge for design for safe construction, operations and maintenance.

Stride is fundamentally committed to quality in engineering and in execution of all projects and field programs. Concise, flexible procedures and standards are developed, followed and continuously improved.

Stride Safety Program:

  • Hazard identification and mitigation in all activities.
  • Focus on safety in design.
  • All design staff receive fundamental education to build competency in design for safe operations and maintenance.
  • Third party risk reviews and hazard mitigation programs are properly implemented.
  • Continuous monitoring and improvement process.
